The Westmorland Animal Hospital in Sackville, New Brunswick is seeking a Veterinary Assistant/ Client Care Representative to join our team! Duties include greeting clients and their pets, responding to customer enquiries, booking appointments, preparing bills and accepting payments, light cleaning and client education. You will also assist other staff with tasks such as filling prescriptions, preparing materials for appointments and handling animals. This position provides a great learning experience for newly graduated veterinary assistants/technicians or persons interested in pursuing a career in veterinary medicine. The Successful applicant will work full time hours, Monday to Friday with weekends and holidays off.
Animals and or medical experience is an asset, it is not required. The right candidate will have a positive attitude, willingness to learn, a confident personality, and get along well with others. Our clinic is a small animal practice which requires flexibility and adaptability in a wide range of situations. You must also be comfortable around all types of dogs and cats and enjoy interacting with the public.
