Job Summary:
As a Clinical Veterinarian for our team, your key responsibilities may include:
- Providing optimal medical care, diagnosis, and treatments
- Collaborate with members of our professional team over a wide range of discipline
- Provide professional expertise for guidance on procedures and techniques involving animals
- Review and optimize animal monitoring and SOPs related to animal care
- Be a member of our animal ethic committee and lend your expertise to evaluate all procedures performed on animals before studies begin
Key Elements:
We are looking for the following minimum qualifications for this role:
- Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine
- Valid OMVQ (Ordre des Médecins Vétérinaires du Québec) licence or immediate eligibility for OMVQ
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Able to work physically (lift up to 20 kg, walk, stand, stoop, etc.)
- Understanding of written English is mandatory. Bilingualism French and English is preferable.
Please note that upon being hired, you will have to undergo an annual tuberculosis test at the expense of the company.Role
Specific Information:
- Work-life balance: Mostly daytime Monday to Friday. Depending on the needs, you will have to do evening, night, and weekend rotation on call.
- Permanent, full-time position as of the hiring
