About Us
Uptown Animal Clinic is a new, privately owned facility bringing high-quality veterinary care to Uptown Saint John. During her 20 years working in vet med, our owner and lead veterinarian has seen (and experienced first-hand) how common burnout and compassion fatigue is.

Responsibilities
- Assisting veterinarian in exam rooms
- Performing tech appointments (e.g. nail trims, anal sac expression, medical grooming)
- Administering medications and vaccines as prescribed by the veterinarian
- Collecting and preparing lab samples for in-house analysis and outside lab submission
- Helping to maintain laboratory equipment and support inventory management
- Assisting veterinarian with sedated procedures (and future surgery as the clinic progresses)
- Maintaining up to date, accurate medical records using DaySmart
- Helping to keep the clinic clean and safe for patients, clients, and staff
Pay: $20-25/hour
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 9-hour shifts with 1 hour lunch break
No on-call or emergency shifts
