The Westmorland Animal Hospital is a close knit veterinary clinic located in Sackville, New Brunswick. We are currently looking for a fitting Veterinary Technician to fill a maternity position in the upcoming year (2026) with the potential for a full time employment after that.

You will be working alongside two Veterinarians, as well as three other experienced Veterinary Technicians, two Vet Assistants and two receptionists. Our clinic is equipped with in house diagnostics such as digital x-ray, a microscope, CBC, Chemistry, and Thyroid Blood Machines. As well as an in-house cytology machine for masses . We also have a dental suite with a recently upgraded dental machine and dental x-ray. A new ultrasound unit, and two anesthetic machines with an active scavenger, allowing us to perform a wide variety of surgical procedures.
As a Veterinary Technician working at the Westmorland Animal Hospital, you will be utilized to your full potential, your job will include, but will not be limited to: Nursing duties, calculating and administering medication doses, collecting lab samples, placing IV catheters, monitoring anesthetic procedures with confidence, producing lab results (Blood smears, urinalysis, fecal, and various tissue cytology), charting notes, client education, restraint, and keeping the clinic clean and organized.
Although experience is considered an asset, it is not necessary, as we welcome new and recent grads to apply for this position.
