Introduction:
At Greater Saint JohnWalk-In & Urgent Care hospital, we are dedicated to excellence in veterinary care, looking to specialize in advanced surgical treatments for animals. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Orthopedic, Neuro, and Soft Tissue Surgeon to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about veterinary surgery and is skilled in handling complex cases involving bone, neuro, and soft tissue oncology.
Responsibilities:
- Perform specialized surgical procedures including but not limited to orthopedic, neurosurgical, and oncological surgeries.
- Diagnose and manage a variety of complex conditions in collaboration with the local veterinary community.
- Provide leadership and guidance to our surgical team, ensuring the highest standards of care.
- Participate in the development of treatment protocols and contribute to our ongoing research and educational initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent.
- Specialized training in Veterinary Surgery, with a specialization in orthopedics, neurology, or oncology.
- Proven experience in advanced surgical procedures and oncology care.
- Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in using modern surgical technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage sensitive situations with compassion.
