The Veterinary Teaching Hospital (VTH) at the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC), University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI) invites applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE) Primary Care Veterinarian to work within the AVC-VTH primary care emergency/urgent care service. The primary emergency/urgent care service provides primary urgent and emergency coverage from 7am-10pm for veterinary clinics and clients across Prince Edward Island. This service is part of the clinical teaching program in the VTH and emergency clinicians will provide clinical teaching to fourth year DVM students in emergency and urgent care medicine.

We are seeking a primary care veterinarian to join the team of Emergency Service clinicians to fill a full-time (1.0 FTE) term position from July 1, 2023 until April 30, 2024, with possibility of extension.

Commensurate with experience and qualifications. This appointment will be made at the Clinical Veterinary Professional (UPEIFA, BU2) level and is subject to final budgetary approval. Eligibility of Clinical Veterinary Professionals for benefits will be in accordance with the FA2 collective agreement
