Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate veterinarian to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in emergency medicine and be able to confidently handle a wide range of urgent cases, from trauma to critical care. As an integral member of our team, you will work collaboratively with our experienced staff to provide exceptional medical care and ensure the well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide quality emergency veterinary medical care to a variety of small animals.
• Ability to handle multiple emergencies at once.
• Perform necessary surgical procedures with utmost care and professionalism.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with clients and staff regarding the pet’s condition and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
• Educate clients about the importance of preventative care and healthy living for their pets.
• Work closely with other members of the veterinary team to provide the best possible care to our patients.
• Participate in teaching and mentoring veterinary students and staff.

Requirements:

• DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school
• Valid veterinary license that is in good standing
• Experience in emergency medicine preferred but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
