We can offer you:

We have a supportive teaching environment across our Small and Large Animal Hospitals, offering state-of-the-art technology with advanced imaging modalities including CT and MRI, and boasting over 20 specialist veterinarians alongside talented primary care veterinarians with a highly skilled team of veterinary technicians and support staff.

This is an exciting time for the primary urgent and emergency service, as the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) is seeking to recruit faculty in small animal emergency and critical care, whose scope of work would include working with and playing a foundational role in supporting and leading the primary emergency service.

Operating from 8am-10pm, Monday-Sunday, this service provides patient triage and emergency care coverage for clients and in support of veterinary clinics across Prince Edward Island.  This service is part of the clinical teaching program in the VTH and emergency clinicians will provide clinical teaching to fourth year DVM students in urgent care and emergency medicine.

We are seeking a primary care veterinarian to join the team working within the AVC-VTH Small Animal Primary Care Urgent and Emergency service, in a 0.5 FTE part-time term position until April 30, 2025, with the possibility of extension.
