NBVMA Administrative Assistant

The New Brunswick Veterinary Medical Association (NBVMA) is looking for a detail-oriented, reliable and well-organized part-time administrative assistant to help with the daily function of the association. The NBVMA has a virtual office thus you would be working from the comfort of your home while completing your tasks.
Responsibilities
- Monthly financial reporting
- Work with the NBVMA’s accounting firm to develop the interim and the year-end financial reports
- Quarterly HST reporting and NETFILE with the Canada Revenue Agency
- Assist with new membership registration and renewals for both DVMs and RVTs
- Answer general inquiries (mainly via email) from DVMs, RVTs and the public.
- Support the Registrar/Council with any administrative duties
Requirements
- Experience in an administrative role and accounting is essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite and other office software applications
- Strong communication skills in both English and French with a focus on providing exceptional service
- Work with minimal supervision
Schedule
5-10 hours per week

$20/hour
